Harold:

This looks nice, but I’ve seen quite a few similar games here at the show. 这个看起来很棒!但是我在展览上看到了很多类似的游戏。

 

Helen:

But ours is the only game that is fully compatible with the latest hardware. 但是我们的游戏是唯一一个和最新的硬件是完全兼容的。

 

Harold:

Is that so? So how much are you asking/charging? 是那样吗?你索费多少?

 

Helen:

If you can give me an idea of the quantity, I can quote you a more accurate price. 如果你可以给我数量的概念的话,我可以给你一个更精准的报价。

 

Harold:

Let’s say 3,000 pieces. 打个比方3000件。

 

Helen:

  1. On an order of3,000, I can offer you a price of$10 per game. 好的。如果3000组,我可以给你每个游戏10块钱。

 

Harold:

I’m afraid that price is beyond my budget. Is that the best price you can do for me?恐怕你的价格还是超出我的预算。(within budget在预算内)那是你给我的最好的价格吗?

 

Helen:

This is a very popular item, and we will have to upgrade before our competitors catch up with the technology in this version. 这是一个很受欢迎的商品(be popular with受……的欢迎),我们必须在竞争对手在跟上我们版本技术之前升级。

 

Harold:

I would still like to see something a little cheaper. 我还是想看有没更便宜的。

 

Helen:

If you could increase the quantity to 5,000, we could do $8.5 per piece. 如果你可以把数量增加到5000组件的话,我们可以卖你一个8.5。

 

Harold:

That sounds more like what I had in mind/That sounds more like my ideal offer., but I’ll have to check with my office first. Then I will confirm it with you later today. 那听起来比较像是我心中所想的,但我还是想跟我的公司报汇再跟你确认。
